ABSTRACT
This research has objective 1) to study the level of job satisfaction and organizational commitment of employees in medium and large hotels, 2) to study and compare the individual factors as gender, age, educational level, marital status, time performance and type of employment which 3) to compare affected to compare the level of job satisfaction of employees in medium and large hotels and of organizational 4) to study the job satisfaction which distinguished as environmental performance, independence in practice, value of the work, professional relationship, professional roles, benefits, work stability of employees in medium and large hotels affecting the level of organizational commitment. The samples used in this study were all 309 people and the equipment used in questionnaire developed by a researcher is statistics as percentage, average and standard deviation. Besides, this study tested each hypothesis by using t-test and one-way ANOVA for statistical analysis as well as defined the level of statistical significance was 0.05 and used SPSS program for windows in order to evaluate the research and found that:
1. Job satisfaction of employees was in very high level including organizational commitment.
2. The difference of gender, marital status and type of employment affected entirely level of job satisfaction; however the difference of age, educational level and time performance was not affect level of job satisfaction generally.
3. No difference of generally level of organizational commitment with heterogeneous age, educational level, marital status and type of employment of employees.
4. Employees were differently satisfied in job with 7 areas were environmental performance, independence in practice, value of the work, professional relationship, benefits and work stability which the entirely level of organizational commitment was different as well. |
