ABSTRACT
This research had 3 main objectives 1) to study the impacted factors toward virtue and ethics of studentsat Siam technology college in Bangkok Yai district Bangkok, 2) to compare of the impacted factors toward virtue and ethics of studentsat Siam technology college, they were classified according to sex, age, education level, occupation of guardian, average income per month of guardian and the cost per month of student, 3) to study approach to promote of the impacted factors toward virtue and ethics of studentsat Siam technology college.
This is a quantitative research using the questionnaire. The samples used in this study were the 280 students at Siam technology college, who had undergraduate studies at level 1-3. Analysis of data use the software package. The statistical procedures used for analyzing data were percentage, mean,standard deviation ; t-test and one way analysis of variance (One-Way ANOVA).
The results of research were found that : Internal factor
The kindness :Students have the characteristic of being a compassionate sympathy when a friend was sufferingand forgiveness.
The honest : Students have the honest and sincere to friend, attend regularly. This is important honest with yourself.
The orderliness : Students are highly orderliness, follow the rules of the college, do not talk on the phone and do not sleep while studies.
External factor
The fimalies of students :Students focus on the warmth of the family, solve problem and together in the family.
College :The teacher should be punished them when students make mistakes.
Social surrounding :Community does not has help the students to have a moral and ethical growth and Students imitate celebrities.
Religious :Students believe that Religion can purify their minds of the people to happy and apply the teachings in their lives.
The approach to promote of the impacted factors toward virtue and ethics :
1. Family unity must has love, has harmony, have meal andtalk about ever problems.
2. Parents shouldbe establish a good relationship in your family and good model.
3. College should beprovide students, teachers, parents as well as network of Virtue and Ethics.
4. Teachers should be good role models to students.
5. Community members should have been loved, have harmony and have activities about Virtue and Ethics for students to joinful.
6. The Grovnment should be support Virtue and morality project and Moral camp for students.
7. The temple should be have interest Moral activity for students to join and have the atmosphere is conducive toward Virtue and Ethics. |
