ABSTRACT
The purposes of the study of “the Roles of monks teaching Dhamma studies toward teacher and students at schools in Lat Lum Keaw District, Pathumthani Province” are : 1) To study the levels of the Propagation of Teachers and Students toward the Monk’s roles in the Teaching of Dhamma Studies at schools in Lat Lum Keaw District, Pathumthani Province, 2) To study the relationship between the personal elements and the Propagation of Teachers and Students toward the Monk’s roles in the Teaching of Dhamma Studies in schools at Lat Lum Keaw District, Pathumthani Province and 3) To study the problems, the obstacle and the suggestion in propagating Buddhist faith of the priests who taught morale in the schools of Lat Lum Keaw District, Pathumthani Province. This research used the Survey Research to collect the data from 412 Samples of Lat Lum Keaw District, Pathumthani Province. The instrument used for data collecting was open-ended questionnaires. The reliability was 0.8152. The researcher analyzed data by using the percentage, the mean, the standard deviation and tested the hypothesis by using Test and F (f-test) by one-way analysis of variance
The result of this research finds that:
(1) The Opinions of Teachers and Students Toward the Monk’s roles in the Teaching of Dhamma Studies at school is Lat Lum Keaw District, Pathumthani Province were in good level. The levels of regulations, practical need and practical intention were also high.
(2) Testing hypothesis to find the relationship between the personal elements includes the age, the years of monkhood, educational qualification, The Dhamma education, the education and the experience in propagating Buddhist faith of The Opinions of Teachers and Students toward the Monk’s roles in the Teaching of Dhamma Studies at school Lat Lum Keaw, Pathumthani Province. The result is that the personal elements do not create any difference. Consequently, it contradicted to the hypothesis.
(3) The problem obstructing the roles of Dhamma monk teachers at schools in Lat Lum Keaw District, Pathumthani Province are time limitation, lack of acceptance, support and good cooperation, lack of students’ attention and lack of teaching plan. Consequently, the teachers should adopt “carrot and stick” approach in order to promote students’ attention and have a well-organised teaching plan before the beginning of the Dhamma course. |
