ABSTRACT
The research study are of objectives as (1) to study The Teaching Problems of the Monks Teaching Morality in Ratchaburi Primary Schools Area 2 , (2) to compare the teaching problems of the monks teaching morality in Ratchaburi Primary Schools Area 2, and (3) to study problems, obstacles and suggestions on the problems of the monks teaching morality in Ratchaburi Primary Schools Area 2.
The research is survey research using the questionnaire as a tool in the research data from persons answered the questionnaire, i.e. 126 monks teaching morality in those schools. The statistics used is frequency value, percentage value, average, and the value deviates, and the standard.
The research results are as below :
1. The monks teaching the morality answered questionnaires are mostly of 31-40 years old, ranging to 36 in number, forming 36.50 percent. 11-15 years old, the ones who are there are 32 in number, forming 25.40 percent. The ones with Pali and Dhamma Studies qualifications are 88 in number, forming 66.70 percent. The ones with bachelor degree are 62 in number, ranging to 40.20 percent. The ones with experience in teaching primary schools are 103 in number, ranging to 81.70 percent. And the ones with teaching experience between 1-5 years are 66 in number, forming 52.40 percent.
2. The monks teaching the morality in schools as mentioned above had opined as to the teaching problems, as overall, were of a high level, while considered in each aspect, it was high level in learning measurement with other aspects as of medium levels.
3. On problems, obstacles and suggestions of those of the monks teaching morality, they were found that the subject contents and circulum conveyed the lack of knowledge of learning management plans. On aspect of media production, they were also lack of knowledge and skill in media production. On aspect of teaching management, there were no teachers to have helped control the students, thus make poor results of the quidance and learning evaluation, i.e. lack of knowledge and competence in evaluation of learning and study.
