The thesis aims to study teaching and learning activity in the Buddhist Way in Matthayomsuksa 1st of Namdibvidyakom T. Namdib A. Pasang Lamphun Province. The research was conducted by the survey research method; the primary sources derived from the Tipitaka and the secondary sources acquired from the relevant research, books and the questionnaires also used for collecting field data.
The results revealed that the over all of the questionnaires’ answer from teachers and students on teaching and learning activities in four aspects of the Buddhist ways ; the learning and teaching activities, the media and technology innovations, the activities for supporting multiple intelligence and the authentic assessments were at the significant level of 4.00.
With regard to the teachers’ idea on the guidelines for providing the learning and teaching activities can be divided into four aspects as follows; 1) the learning and teaching activities in the primary level need to be improved in order to point out the importance of Buddhism subject and the students lack of responsibilities and need to motivate the them all the time. 2) The media and technology innovations are not suitable for providing the learning and teaching activities. It needs to produce the instruction media. 3) The activities for supporting multiple intelligence found that there is no time enough for providing the activities in line of Buddhist ways. 4) The authentic assessments found that it cannot be achieved because of the content and the limited time.
The suggestions for providing the learning and teaching activities can be divided into four aspects as follows; 1) the learning and teaching activities must motivate the students to pay attention to the class and creating the value for their daily life. 2) The application of media and technology innovations would promote students with the lifelong learning. 3) The activities for supporting multiple intelligence found that the students should be encouraged to learn through the extra activities such as the excursions or participating in the moral camp. 4) The authentic assessments should be consistent with the students and the schools and teachers should search and develop the authentic assessments through all kinds of media such as newspapers, television on the Teacher Chanel and all relevant books. |
