This thesis is to study the fond procedures of the monks in Donmoon Sub-District, Sung-Men District, Phrae province, Brought to used to modify the behavior of the youths. The data were collected. By focusing on the focus group with those involved to modify the behavior of the youths. In the Donmoon Sub-District, there were monks, youths, parents, 60 people all of whom are and the community leaders, police officers in community of Donmoon, Dontan and Rongyeng.
That is from the results of the study it is found that, the behavior of young people in the community is not desirable. 1) The mingling of the children, 2) The drugs 3) The controversy, and 4) The problem of premature sexual activity. The cause of the unwanted behavior from the social environment are the problems of parents, the 3 which are consistent. The change of the behavior among the youths in the form of activities, 1) Strengthen the relationship between family members, 2) The activity for young people letting them understand about the problem and form to have sex premature, 3) Teaching them how to pray to meditate, to spread radiation acts, to be compassionate 4) The propagation of the doctrine, and 5) Instruction below by training opportunities for young people’ s ordination as a summer novice, the Buddhist youth camp, developing those who attend the training a desirable character by which one can live with others in societies happily.
From the synthesis of feedback from those involved, the roles of the clergy to modify the behavior of young people are 1) Further understanding of the roles of family members and cultivating a lifestyle that is 2) to train young people as well as moral responsibility with age-appropriate behavior, and 3) enhancing the knowledge to prevent and tackle violence against women and children in the family. The roles played by the priest who practices in the behavioral problems of unwanted children in the area are: 1) A surveillance of network problems between home, school, friends, community and youth groups and community leaders to play a role in helping to coordinate volunteers and police officers, teachers, house parents and the community. Help monitor the inappropriate behavior of adolescents. Not a problem within the community, 2) The school should support the monks to have a chance to take part in teaching the ethics in earnestly and more organization. The school should allow the students to gain knowledge experience and ethics widely 3) The school should support and encourage students to attend events and ethics, and 4) The priests should improve their role in terms of being of good models for ethical members of societies for acceptance and adherence. This will enable the training of the priests to teach effectively and to achieve more success. |
