Abstract

This research is of 3 objectives :- 1) to study the principle of Sârâóîyadhamma in Theravâda Buddhism, 2) to study the viewpoint about the human relations, 3) to study the principles of Sârâóîyadhamma to support the human relations of the students in Rajavinit Mathayom School.

This is documentary research and the dept interview from the exemplary group consisting of 7 teachers, 28 students and 3 academician including 37 exemplary groups of people, it is found the principles of Sârâóîyadhamma in Theravâda Buddhism mean the doctrines which are the causes to cause the people to recollect one another which are the doctrines of much support, cause the people to love and respect one another, not to guarrel one another, to be inharmony with one another and to be one and the same towards one another, with 6 doctrinal organs, namely :- 1) Mettâkâyakamma (bodily loving kindness), 2) Mettâvacîkamma (verbal loving kindness), 3) Mettâmanokamma (mental loving kindness), 4) Sâdhâraóabhogitâ       (the  sharing of any lawful gains with virtuous fellows), 5) Sîlasâmaññatâ (the keeping of        the preceps without blemishing the rules of conduct along with one’s fellows),                             6) Diööhisâmaññatâ (being endowed with right views along with one’s fellows).

The Sârâóîyadhamma are in compliance with the human relations which means the connection and the relationship among 2 people onwards both at the same level and the different one, both personally and in working to cause one and the another to have good understanding, the fact of which will bring the love and the co-operation in working successfully including the way of leading the lives happily.

The result of the dept interview about a study of the principles of Sârâóîyadhamma to support the human relations of the students in Rajavinit Mathayom School, it is found the students have known the meaning of  the principles of Sârâóîyadhamma at the disirible level.

The students have good Mettâvacîkamma, Mettâmanokamma, Sâdhâraóabhogitâ and Diööhisâmaññatâ to themselves but they should develop Mettâkâyakamma and Sîlasâmaññatâ. Though they have Mettâkâyakamma, Mettâvacîkamma, Sâdhâraóabhogitâ and Diööhisâmaññatâ to their  friends at a good level however, they should develop Mettâmanokamma and Sîlasâmaññatâ. On the other hand, it is found that most of the students have Mettâkâyakamma, Mettâvacîkamma, Mettâmanokamma, Sâdhâraóabhogitâ, Sîlasâmaññatâ and Diööhisâmaññatâ to their parents at the disirible level. Though they have Mettâkâyakamma, Mettâmanokamma and Sâdhâraóabhogitâ to their teachers at the high level, they should develop Mettâvacîkamma, Sîlasâmaññatâ and Diööhisâmaññatâ.            The students have Mettâvacîkamma, Mettâmanokamma, Sâdhâraóabhogitâ, Sîlasâmaññatâ and Diööhisâmaññatâ to their societies at a good level, they should develop Mettâkâyakamma.

The problems about the human relationship are most of the students are in lack of Mettâkâyakamma and Sîlasâmaññatâ to themselves, they should develop Mettâmanokamma and Sîlasâmaññatâ to their friends and they still are in lack of Mettâvacîkamma, Sîlasâmaññatâ and Diööhisâmaññatâ to their teachers.  The principal cause of the problem of the human relations comes from 2 factors :- the inside factor in the students themselves and the factor about the state of environment.

The process in appling the principles of Sârâóîyadhamma to support the human relations of the students in Rajavinit Mathayom School is of 2 kinds :- 1) the process of appling the principles of Sârâóîyadhamma in the pattern of Tisikkhâ (morality concentration wisdom) and 2) the process of appling the principle of Sârâóîyadhamma in the retrospective way of Tisikkhâ (wisdom concentration morality).

The results received from the application of the principles of Sârâóîyadhamma to support the human relations of the students in Rajavinit Mathayom School are of 6 kinds :- namely 1) endearing, 2) bringing respect, 3) conducing to sympathy, 4) non-guarrelling,             5) harmony and 6) unity.
