This thesis is the study of the verbal behavior in a case of the fourth year students at Bangkok University, Rangsit Campus, Patumthanee Province, objective of the study are : - 1) to study the use of verbal behavior in the case of a fourth year student in Bangkok University, Rangsit Campus, Patumthanee Province, 2) to compare the use of verbal behavior in the case of fourth year student at Bangkok University, Rangsit Campus, Patumthanee Province, 3) to study the proposal of the way to solve the problems of using the wrong speech in case of the fourth year student at Bangkok University, Rangsit Campus, Patumthanee Province. This research is conducted by a sampling group of the fourth year student at Bangkok University, Rangsit Campus, Patumthanee Province by the survey research methods with the research tool used in a questionnaire by the 351 people. The frequency of analyzing the data is determined by average the percentile, standard deviation, for the T. Test, the F.Test, the single analyzation and the comparision of the different variants of the same value as a partner with LSD’s Method.
From the research, it is found that.
1. The use of verbal behavior at the University, percentile level is generally at when ( X= 3.37) but when considered on each side beginning from much to little, it is found that the false speech, the catty speech and the rough speech are at the true levels (X = 3.56 – 3.44), but the rambling speech is of the behavior at the level of uncertainly (X= ๓.๐๒). So the average of speech at the university on the side false speech is of munch average.
2. The students of the different sexes, ages, faculty of education, grade of marks and the different religions, are significantly different in speech behavior level in the university at 0.05.
The proposal of the way to improve the behavior of way to improve the behavior of speech the university on the side of false speech, that is to say the students must try to speak only the truth and to study the Dhamma to be afraid of the sins. Regarding the creation 0f the dissension, it is found that the students must not encourage the other persons to quarrel with one another. They should have mindfulness to remind themselves as to what is right and what is wrong. Regarding the rough speech , the students should speak politely, think before speaking and warn themselves not to speak roughly. Regarding the rambling speech, the student should speak only what is useful, not to speak faulsely and without the essence. They should spend their time usefully throughout their live. |
