The purposes of this research are: 1) to study leadership applying the seven Sappurisadhammas of Buddhist ecclesiastical monks in UthaithaniProvince, 2) to compare leadership applying the seven Sappurisadhammas of Buddhist ecclesiastical monks in UthaithaniProvince, classified by different factors and 3) to suggest ways to be the leader applying the seven Sappurisadhammas.
The researcher is the survey research. The samples were 170 Buddhist ecclesiastical monks in UthaithaniProvince with the simple random sampling. The tool of the research was questionnaire with 5 levels of evaluation and open ended questions. The questionnaire has 0.9784 of reliability. The data analysis used program for Social Science research. The statistics for the data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test, One-way ANOVA and Least Significant Difference: LSD.
The results of the research were:
1. On the whole, the leadership applying the seven Sappurisadhammas of Buddhist ecclesiastical monks in UthaithaniProvince was in high level. After considering each aspect from high to low level of mean, the results were as follows: Parisannuta, Attannuta, Atthannuta, Puggalannuta, Dhammannuta, Mattannuta and Kalannuta.
2. The comparison of the leadership applying the seven Sappurisadhammas of Buddhist ecclesiastical monks in Uthaithani Province, classified by year of ordaination, position, Dhamma education, Pali educationa and work experience was found that the leadership of Buddhist ecclesiastical monks who had different factors but their opinions towards the leadership were not different, so the assumption was denied.
3. The ways to develop the leadership applying the seven Sappurisadhammas of Buddhist ecclesiastical monks in UthaithaniProvince were that all Buddhist ecclesiastical monks should apply the seven Sappurisadhammas in the Sangha administration and support them to perform in the concrete. It can develop the Sangha administration to have more unity and more efficiency.
