The purposes of this research are: (1) to study the human resource development applying Sikkhattaya (the three foid training), (2) to compare the human resource development applying Sikkhattaya, separating them from the different factors of each person, and (3) to study the problems and suggestions of human resource development applying Siddhattaya in Takfa Monastery, Takfa District, Nakhon Sawan Province.
This research is the survey research, and the samples were 222 Buddhist monks and novices from Takfa Monastery, Takfa District, Nakhon Sawan Province. The instrument was questionnaire with 0.97 of reliability to collect the data. The statistics for analyzing data were frequency, percentage, standard deviation, t-test, F-test, One-way ANOVA and least significant Difference. : LSD.
The results of research were:
1. Most of the samples or 83.8 percent are novices. 82.9 percent have age less than 20 years old. 79.3 percent study normal education and lower than bachelor degree, 91.4 percent are in third grade study of Dhamma and 59.9 percent study Pali I, Pali II and Pali III. moreover the researcher found that the human resource development applying Sikkhattaya on the whole were in high level (x=4.24). After considering each factor, mean was in high level too.
2. The comparison’s of human resource development applying sikkhettaya, separating by different factors of each person found that the samples with difference of Pali level had different opinions towards the human resource development applying Sikkhattaya on the whole at 0.01 of significance. When considering each factor, the samples with difference of Palilevel had different opinions at 0.05 of significance as the assumption. But for other factors, their opinions were not different.
3. The suggestions for the human resources development applying Sikkhattaya of Takfa Monastery,Takfa District, Nakhon Sawan Province are as follows: should make the plan of seminar to give the standard knowledge to the Buddhist and novices, think of the disciplines and responsibility, bring the Buddhist principles to apply studying and teaching of the Buddhist monks and novices for conducting and developing the body, mind and wisdow higher.
