The purposes of this research were to 1) study the administration applying good governance of Pangmaka Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Khanuworalaksaburi District, Kamphaengphet Province, 2) compare people’s opinions towards the administration applying good governance of Pangmaka Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Khanuworalaksaburi District, Kamphaengphet Province, and 3) apply the research data to administer the organization effectively.
The population used in this study consisted of 253 people, derived from simple random sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The data was analyzed by means of frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, One-way ANOVA, and LSD.
The results were as follows:
1. Overall opinions of the people toward the administration applying good governance of Pangmaka Sub-district Administrative Organization, Khanuworalaksaburi District, Kamphaengphet Province were at the high level. Considering each aspect, it was found that all aspects ranked the high level ( x = 3.76).
2 . In term of hypothesis testing, it was found that opinions of overall aspect and separated ones of the residents with different sex, age, and education toward the administration applying good governance of Pangmaka Sub-district Administrative Organization, Khanuworalaksaburi District, Kamphaengphet Province were not different. Thus, this rejected the research hypothesis. However, opinions of the people with different working experience toward the administration applying good governance were significantly different at the level of 0.01 This accepted the research hypothesis (Sig = 0.00)
The administration applying good governance of Pangmaka Sub-district Administrative Organization, Khanuworalaksaburi District, Kamphaengphet Province could be applied as guidelines to develop the administration following to the six principles, covering the rule of law, the principles of Ethics, the principle of transparency, the principles of participation, the main sense of responsibility, and the principles of efficiency. All officers in the organization, especially the administrator, had to be Intellectual in official laws, regulations, and principles. The officers had to receive people opinions and respect different views. The administrator, government officials, and authorities had to function their duties honestly, based on accuracy, impartiality, and equality. The organization should allow people to examine its internal affairs. The information useful for residents should be disclosed openly. The organization should allow people to acknowledge some occurred problems to share their opinions and participate in voting. Goals and standards of the organization should be clearly planed covering all working systems. Finally, the organization had to manage worthily. |
