This research work aims at studying (1) the concept of Buddhist educational welfare; (2) the satisfactory toward the management of Educational Welfare of Development Centre for Children under Compulsory School of Wat Thungkru. and (3) the way to develop the said Centre of Wat Thungkru, by sampling 190 out of the whole population concerned. The data analysis was made by ready made program for social science research. Statistics used for this purpose are frequency value, percentage value, arithmetic mean value, standard variation. The research results can be summarized as follows.
1. At present, the concept on Buddhist educational welfare has been organized to fulfill the educational purpose in partial of the Ministry of Education covering all aspects of education for all walks of people stressing development of needy children of chance lacking in order to educate and develop their skill for living, creative idea, possessing of ethics and virtue, having right ours value, and a good will toward family, society, and the nation, to say in brief, a Thai citizen full of responsibilities and ability to carry their life smoothly on the way of democracy with Kingship, able to be a medium between government and people in community, as well as to be back to develop their locality to the full extent.
2. As to the satisfaction toward the educational welfare for the Development Centre for Children under Compulsory School of Wat Thungkru responded by student guardians, Thungkru Community Development Officers and other Concerned the said Centre of 190 people found that overall satisfaction is at a high level. A mean of 3.69, and when considered, it was found that the satisfaction of all 4 sides at a high level. By the average sorted by descending below. The control A mean of 3.85 in academic administration. A mean of 3.70 in directing and managing. The average was 3.61 same.
3. Recommendation is made as to develop the Development Centre for Children under Compulsory School of Wat Thungkru in parallel of all four aspects by starting from the point of taking a plan into action, following the working operations, coordinating and directing, including the provision of necessary data beneficial to the management of the Centre. Suggestion is also made as to immediate action be undertaken to rearrange landscape in front of the Centre ; to organize gathering between children guardians and teachers ; to provide suitable training programs both for teachers and staff for their full competence ; to organize religious activities ; to introduce aerobic dance in the morning ; to make a building for educational instruments ; to check physical health before admitting into schooling to prevent contagious diseases ; and lastly to open for application on Saturday and Sunday. |
