The main objectives of this research are i) to study Tambon Municipality’s administration in accordance with Saraniyadhamma VI opined by the people; ii) to compare the people’s opinions towards Tambon Municipality’s administration in accordance with Saraniyadhamma VI: a case study of Tambon Plaibang, Bang Kruai District, Nonthaburi Province, classified by personal factors; and iii) to study the guidelines to applying Saraniyadhamma VI for Tambon Municipality’s administration in Tambon Plaibang, Bang Kruai District, Nonthaburi Province. The research is descriptive one with 300 persons living in Tambon Plaibang Municipality, Bang Kruai District, Nonthaburi Province, drawn by multistage sampling technique as research sample. The tool used for collecting data was questionnaire.
Program for social science research was employed for data analysis by using statistical techniques such as frequencies, percentage, and average, standard deviation (S.D) for describing data from variables or personal characteristics. The analysis was also done through t-test for analysis the hypotheses in order to test the average difference between the two groups and f-test (One-way ANOVA) for testing the difference between the averages from three or more groups. The significant difference was noted at .05 levels.
The results of this study are concluded as follows:
The overall people’s opinions towards Tambon Municipality’s administration in accordance with Saraniyadhamma VI: a case study of Tambon Plaibang, Bang Kruai District, Nonthaburi province have been found at high level ( = 3.60). When taken into consideration in each aspect, it is found that the people have opined the Tambon Municipality’s administration in accordance with Saraniyadhamma VI at high level in all aspects.
With regard to comparison the people’s opinions towards Tambon Municipality’s administration in accordance with Saraniyadhamma VI: a case study of Tambon Plaibang, Bang Kruai District, Nonthaburi Province, classified by personal factors, it was noticed that sex and age were found statistically significant different at .05 level, thus accepting the set hypothesis; whereas level of education and occupation were noted no significant differences even at .05 level, rejecting the formulated hypothesis. |
