Abstract

The main purposes of this thesis were to study a result of practicing Anapanasati meditation by adopting the teaching concept of Cippa Model for the 1-3 Mathayomsuksa students at Chomchonnongmeg School, the applied result of practicing Anapanasati meditation to the ethical development of the 1-3 Mathayomsuksa students at Chomchonnongmeg School,  and finally, a belief in of practicing Anapanasati meditation by adopting the teaching concept of Cippa Model for the 1-3 Mathayomsuksa students at Chomchonnongmeg School.

            This study was found that the practice of meditation was one of important ways to make a student’s mindfulness stable and unshakable in all attached things because he had principles to control his mind and organize his thoughts in the right way. These principles were applied to many activities in the daily life such as education, work, and decision in various problems. The child-centered classroom in the form of the teaching concept of CIPPA Model was the learning and teaching process that stressed on the children’s role to grow the physical, intellectual and emotional development. It allowed the student to contact the other persons and environment. Generally, this mentioned learning and teaching process allowed students to create a body of knowledge.

            After practicing the Anapanasati meditation, the student’s ethical development was 100 percent of showing gratitude to his parents, 91.55 percent of forgiving, 85.92 percent of controlling manners, 83.10 percent of being responsible for a duty, and 73.24 percent of taking habit-forming drugs such as cigarette, and amphetamine orderly. All of them were in the most standard.

After practicing the Anapanasati meditation, students believed in the law of action: 91.55 percent of having an idea to make merit, 85.92 percent of endurance to do activities, 84.51 percent of being happy, 81-69 percent of believing in the Anapanasati meditation and controlling mind mindfully, 80.28 percent of believing in the Sangha, 78.87 percent of believing in the practice of meditation to grow mindfulness or resolve a problem in the daily life, and 76-24 percent of believing in Dhamma. All of them were considerably recognized as the most standard.
