This thesis have 3 objectives: 1) to study the multicultural context of the community of Wat Khanngoen, Chumphon Province. 2) to study the concept of peaceful buddhist in theravada buddhism 3) to analytical study of multicultural Way of Wat Khanngoen community in chumporn province according to buddhist peacefull means. to be qualitative field research. it is found the followings:
1. The multicultural context of the Wat Khanngoen Community in chumporn province in the past was an agricultural community and a center of trade. there are migrate chinese settle down and living together with the local Thais as well as become the economic area and It is a community of relatives. believe in merit. The community have a the various culture, race and mixed them together. The community has collaborated to create love, understanding, to create public benefit, and support education for children and youth in the community.
2. The concept of buddhist peacefull means which support multiculturalism by not using non-conflicting, benevolent, not dangerous, unity, harmonize, liberty, and justice, self-reliance, equal opportunity social welfare united on the basis of trust. All is 4 Sangahavatthu: 1) Dana: giving, sacrificing and sharing, 2) Piyavãcã: polite and kindly speech, 3) Atthacariyã: aiming to perform useful conducts towards one another, and 4) Samãnattatã: self-adjusting, sharing happiness and sorrow.
3. to analytical study of multicultural way of wat khanngoen community in chumporn province according to buddhist peacefull means. wat khanngoen community is as give community (Dana) is realize the duty, help, work, service, services, help with the mind. The inheritance of the community with love and understanding (Piyavãcã) is not lie learn each other, honoring, do not race, religion speek parody. Creativity or development community for the benefit of happiness (atthacariyã) is to make happyness for themselves and others. to be kind to each other, to create good things for human beings together, to share responsibility, to consider together and the dependence. The continuity of the relationship of the way of the family (Samãnattatã) is tolerate others, accept others, see other Like relatives, have a joint activity, live in harmony and love like brothers.
