Abstract

The objectives of this research were; 1) to study the state of career and technology learning promotion under the Office of Pathumthani Primary Educational Service Area 1, 2) to study guidelines of career and technology learning promotion, and 3) to propose guidelines of career and technology learning promotion. The quantitative data were collected from 331 teachers by questionnaires and analyzed by percentage, frequency, mean and standard deviation. The qualitative data were obtained by in-depth interviews with 3 experts and analyzed by content analysis.

          The results of the research found that:

          1. The state of career and technology learning promotion under the Office of Pathumthani Primary Educational Service Area 1 was at a high level overall. The problems were found in; 1) Motivation, teaching and learning management relevant to students’ requirement, evaluation of students’ learning background, and visiting scholar to acknowledge in teaching and learning management, 2) Stimulation, students’ brainstorm and exchange ideas, students’ work based learning, and application, 3) Strengthening, students feel proud to study based on their skills and work based learning should be supported by administrators and teachers.

          2. The guidelines of career and technology learning promotion under the Office of Pathumthani Primary Educational Service Area 1 were that; 1) In motivation, students should have choices to study according to their skills and have guidance for further study from teachers and former graduates who are successful in their careers, 2) In stimulation, students should share participation in learning in order to exchange knowledge and idea, and 3) In strengthening, students should be supported to express their potential, ideas and products inside and outside school.
