This research aims to study the ethic principle of gratitude of Secondary school students in in Ayutthaya province, to compare the level of opinions on ethic principle of gratitude of students based on individual factors, to propose the development guidelines of ethic principle of gratitude of Secondary school students in in Ayutthaya province.
1. The principle of gratitude were divided into 6 aspects; gratitude to parents, to teachers, to family, to school, to nation, religion and monarchy, and natural resources. The results showed that Secondary school students’ opinion on the ethic principle of gratitude was at the high level in every aspect.
2. Students with different genders had behaviors of gratitude indifferently with a significant statistic figure at 0.05
Students with different ages had behaviors of gratitude to parents, teachers, family, and nation, religion and monarchy differently. 18-19 years old students had gratitude to parents higher than 14-15 years old and 16-17 years old students.
Students with different learning class levels had different behaviors of gratitude to parents and family differently. Matthayom 6 students had gratitude to parents higher than Matthayom 4 and 5 students. Students in Matthayom 4 and 6 had gratitude to school higher than students in Matthayom 5.
Students living in different had gratitude to parents. Students residing with grandfathers and grandmothers had gratitude to parents higher than those living with parents and relatives.
3. The result of recommendation of ethic principle development in gratitude of Secondary school students in in Ayutthaya province found that most students helped carry on the housework, reserve the forests and trees, obey the teachers’ instructions and suggestions, and learn with intention.
