ddddddddThe objectives of this research were 1) to study the administration of public welfare of Sangha administrators in Photharam district, Ratchaburi province, 2) to compare the opinions to administration of public welfare of Sangha administrators in Photharam district, Ratchaburi province classified by personal factors and 3) to present the suggestions about administration of public welfare of Sangha administrators in Photharam district, Ratchaburi province. This research was the mixed method research between the quantitative research that collected the data by using the questionnaires with 399 people which aged over 18 years old in Photharam district, Ratchaburi province which the total population was 108,147. The sample was used by Taro Yamane formula with 399 samples. The tool was used to collect the data that created by own researcher with reliance as 0.971. The statistics used the frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation(S.D.) and tested hypothesis from the personal data of respondents of questionnaires such as gender, age, level of education careers, and income, T-test, F-test, One-way Analysis of Variance least Significant Difference : LSD and the qualitative research through in depth interview from 12 key informants of the tool of research as the structured interview and the data analysis was used by the content analysis technique and the data from interview was classified into importance of the issue from interview and then analyzed the data through the content analysis technique.
The findings of the research as follows:
ddddddddAdministration of public welfare of Sangha administrators in Photharam district, Ratchaburi province, for the welfare, monks supported and promoted the training and teaching the morality and ethics for mental development to students in the educational institution and set up the activities on important days of Buddhism like Makha Bucha Day, Visakha Puja Day, Asalha Puja Day etc. The welfare of others for the public domain, the monks announced to give the monastery as the place for free drug zone such as bad things and gambling and invited the people to participate in the Five Precepts Project. For the welfare for public domain places, the monks had the participation, supporting, helping for traditional activity and local culture such as Tak Bat Devo or merit making in the end of Buddhist Lent day etc. and to build the local museum to collect arts objects or ancient antiques. For the welfare for the general people, the monks had the participation, supporting, helping the scholarship, educational equipment to the students and helping the victims from natural disasters.
ddddddddThe opinions comparison of the people to administration of public welfare of Sangha administrators in Photharam district, Ratchaburi province, classified by personal data with significantly statistics at 0.05 and found that the people had the differences of gender and incomes, had the opinions to the administration of public welfare of Sangha administrators in Photharam district, Ratchaburi province indifferently. It rejected the hypothesis. The people had the differences of age, education, and career, had the opinions to the administration of public welfare of sangha administrators in Photharam district, Ratchaburi province differently. It accepted the hypothesis.
ddddddddThe ways to public welfare management, the Sangha organization should have the training for personnel, training management for quality work of Sangha works. For the public relations should have the well plan and distribution, should provide adequate budget and properly operational capital, and should collaborate with government agencies and private agencies. The monks must give the importance to promote and support as the coordinating center for working the same direction and follow up the evaluation, to find out and accept donations for helping natural disaster victims, medical supplies to the hospitals, educational equipment for students should create the activities and promote participation with the community and should continue to have a clear, stable and sustainable plan.
