The objectives of this research were to 1) to study the roles of monks in the development of children and youths in according to threefold Training in Pranburi District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, 2) to compare the roles of monks in the development of children and youths in according to threefold Training in Pranburi District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province distinguish by personal status and 3) To study the problem, obstacle and suggestion to development guidelines of the roles of monks in the development of children and youths in according to threefold Training in Pranburi District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. The method of the research was mixed method research and used quantitative research methods. the data collected by questionaires. And qualitative research collected the data in-depth interviews. The sampling were children and youths who were high school students at The Secondary Educational Service Area Office 10 in Pranburi District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. The population composed of 1,974 persons. The sample set were Taro Yamane consisted of 325 persons. The instrument used analyze data by questionnaires. An analyze the data were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation (S.D.) Test the hypothesis by testing the t-test for two variables and testing the F-test or one-way ANOVA for three variables and found that the different, it compares the difference in a pair of variables by the least significant differences at .05 and used interviews method by in - deep interviews. The data analysis was interviews on the objective of research and using content analysis technique in essay.
The Findings of this research were as follows:
1. overall, the children and youths had the opinions according to the roles of monks in the development of children and youth according to threefold Training in Pranburi District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province at all 3 aspects at high level and had 3.71 of mean.
2. the children and youths had status, age, class of education and occupation of parents were not different and rejected the hypothesis. As for the different of status, income/monthly of parent was different to the roles of monks in the development of children and youth according to threefold Training in Pranburi District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province at 0.05 significant of statistical, accept the hypothesis.
3. The problem; the roles of monks in the development of children and youth according to threefold Training in Pranburi District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province in the best practice according to Threefold Principle was communicate for present about the image of Buddhist monks in negative. The Buddhist monks are not polite in communicate, smoking at public area, the monk would easy explain dhamic principle and exchange knowledge, open opportunity for exchange learning and open opportunity to ask about the Buddhist. The suggestion; 1) cultivate accordance threefold principle, Monks must be increase lecturer and morality teachers, must be more cultivate about morality and ethics and encourage into education fund, Teaching equipments. As for provided training for encourage knowledge and skills to monks and increase enough the personnel. 2) For encourage the threefold training and activities; to encourage provided knowledge and skills to monks. The monk must operation activists such as brought dharma into school and applied the dharma for all of ages properly and 3) to Being a good role models according to Threefold Training; should selected and training to anyone before ordain for reduce disgracefully behaviors and behave on ecclesiasticism. The monk must calm of character and manners to be observe for increase the faith to others and admittedly to educational institution. To applies presentation about dharma for easy understanding properly to all ages of youths. The monk must do good models and don’t narcotic drugs and should be Verbally polite.
