This documentary research was collected data from primary and secondary sources. The objectives were; study of life and work of Pranayama of, 2) study the pattern and methods of meditation practice of Phra Phraya Nararatrajmanit, and 3) study the application of Pranyama to meditation practice by Phra Phraya Nararatrajmanit
The result revealed that Phra Phraya Nararatrajmanit was a good Buddhist monk who was practice in fair deeply, great deal of praiseworthy practice, and holy precept. He was a gratitude, patience, perseverance, and solitude monk who had the power to make merit and to achieve Buddha's death. Because of Phra Phraya Nararatrajmanit was a Samatha style. Hence, he was successed in Samatha meditation before he got success in Vipassana meditation. It had lead him to get the first level in meditation and continuing to the high level is the fourth level of Samatha meditation. In addition, he continued his meditation to Kasin meditation which it made his mind stronger in the first level of meditation. He continuing practicum mindfulness and enlightenment in Vipassana until got nirvana. Completing all the meditation levels in Samatha method made him apply Pranayama easier, which it maintained his health, illness and others. All of content is the way of practicing for the cessation of suffering.
