The objectives of this thesis were as follows: 1) to study the role for promotion of Buddhist’s affair of  Buddhist office in Songkhla Province. 2) to compare the role for promotion of  Buddhist’s affair of  Buddhist office in Songkhla Province in terms of  ages, periods of  monkhood, formal education, Dhamma studies, and Pali studies as differently. 3) to study the way to promote role of Buddhist’s affair of  Buddhist office in Songkhla Province. This is quantitative research on survey study, the instrument for data collection by questionnaire from monks in Songha  province  there are amount 338 persons Data analysis by Frequency, Percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and F-test.

             The findings were as follows:

            1) The role for promotion of Buddhist’s affair of Buddhist office in Songkhla Province by overview was at more level (X=3.98) for all aspects. When considered in each aspect found that the aspects of Buddhist affair development and respond Songha’s affair was the highest mean (X=4.14) and followed up the aspect of Buddhism  promotion (X=4.13) and the aspect of virtue consciousness on Buddhist principle was lowest mean (X=3.69). When classified in terms of ages, periods of monkhood, Dhamma study levels, Pali study levels, and formal education levels found that there were at more levels for all aspects.

2) The compare result on the role for promotion of Buddhist’s affair of Buddhist office in Songkhla Province in terms of ages, periods of monkhood, by overall, found that there were not different, and in terms of degrees of education, Dhamma studies, and Pali studies found that there were different as statistically significance at .05.

3) The suggestion on way to promote on the role for of  Buddhist’s affair of Buddhist office in Songkhla Province found that they had recommended that on the aspect of Buddhist’s affair and respond of  Songha’s work was the highest  frequency, the suggested that the Buddhist office should co-operate with Songha for protection and help monk on the care of conflict with Lay people throughout taking care of old monk and followed up the aspect of  Buddhism dissemination  with  the  suggestion that the Buddhist office should have project for dissemination of  Buddhism to the youths and to have activities for dissemination in the holy day etc.
