This research was aimed at three objectives as following : 1) to study on guideline for tourist development in Sathigphra district, Songkhla province, 2)to compare on guideline for tourist development in Sathigphra district, Songkhla province in terms of sex, age, degree of education and occupation as differently,and 3) to study on problem and guideline for tourist development in Sathigphra district, Songkhla province, This is the quantitative research The population composed of people in Khukhud sub district,Deeluang sub district, and Chumpol sub district under the area of Sathingphra district Songkhla province for 3,457 persons. Sample size by Krejcie and Morgan’s table measurement, The samples were amount 350 persons. The instrument for data collection was questionnaire designed by researcher and experts, data analysis by package computer program in social science. The statistics were applied as follow; percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test, Scheffe’s method and one way ANOVA
The findings were as follows:
1) The guideline for tourist development in Sathigphra district, Songkhla province found that by overview was at more level ( = 4.06) for all aspects when considered in each aspect found that the aspect of culture was highest mean( = 4.19) and followed up the aspect of economic ( = 4.18) and the aspect of environment ( = 3.98) but the aspect of social was the lowest mean ( = 3.89) when classified in terms of sex, age, degree of education and occupation found that by overview was at more level.
2)The comparative result on guideline for tourist development in Sathigphra district, Songkhla province in terms of sex, age, and degree of education found that there were different as statistically significance at .05 but in term of occupation and found that there were not different.
3) The guideline for tourist development in Sathigphra district, Songkhla province found that the aspect of economic was the highest mean and they had recommended that the promote of investment, commerce and tourism from government were not enough with community’s need, lack of development and apply products in Digital age, the guideline for promotion of tourism they had recommended that the government must promote with creative economic to community for making surplus value of community products as seriously. The government sector must provide more budget to develop tourist area of community.
