The objectives of this research were as follows: 1) to study on the participation of community committee in community development, khokhan sub-district, Khoapanom district, Krabi province. 2) to compare on participation of community committee in community development, Khokhan subdistrict, khoapanom district, Krabi province, and 3) to study the suggestion on participation of community committee in community development, Khokhan subdistrict, khoapanom district, Krabi province. This research is quantitative research. The population for this research were composed of community committee in Khokhan subdistrict, khoapanom district, Krabi province for seven villages in 150 persons, as follows; frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, One way ANOVA for hypothesis test at the differentiation test of statistic significance at 0.5
The findings were as follows:
1. The committee in Khokhan sub- district, khoapanom district, Krabi province. Overall, the mean was high ( = 3.78). Engage in practice the mean score was at the highest level ( = 3.84), followed by participation in monitoring and evaluation ( = 3.81) and decision making ( = 3.78). When classified by gender, age, education level, occupation, income and marital status, it was found that the village committee had a high level of participation.
2. The comparative result in participatory community development of the committee showed that the committee with different education, career and income performed different participation in community development with a statistically significant difference at 0.05 whereas the participation in community development of the committee with gender, age, and marital status was not statistically significant difference at the 0.05.
3. Finding on the suggestions on participation of community committee in community development revealed that the committee should have self-sacrifice for social work and more participate in planning by proposing project with clear objectives, to help community with public relations and to give an opportunity to general people in continuous participation in any activities in community including more listening to all opinions of people.
