Within this thesis, the researcher investigates 1) the levels of Self esteem, Resilience Quotient, Emotion Quotient and Spiritual Well-being of Buddhist monks in the volunteer group of Gilanadhamma 2) the levels of Spiritual Well-being of Buddhist monks who differ in personal factors. 3) the relation between Self-esteem, Resilience Quotient, Emotion Quotient and Spiritual Well-being of Buddhist monks in the volunteer group of Gilanadhamma.
The sample consists of 80 Buddhist monks in the volunteer group of Gilanadhamma within Bangkok Metropolis Region. The instrument of research was composed of questionnaires of which five parts were 1) Personal factors information 2) Self-esteem 3) Resilience Quotient 4) Emotion Quotient and 5) Spiritual well-being. Using techniques of descriptive statistics, the researcher analyzed the data collected in terms of percentage, mean and standard deviation. One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), Spearman’s product moment correlation coefficient method.
The findings are as follows: 1) Self-esteem, Resilience Quotient, Emotion Quotient and Spiritual well-being of sample were at high level. 2) Buddhist monks in the volunteer group of Gilanadhamma who had difference in age, educational background, number of attendance with the volunteer group of Gilanadhamma and duration of patient Counseling participation did not display corresponding differences in Spiritual well-being. Buddhist monks in the volunteer group of Gilanadhamma who had different in age of ordination displayed corresponding differences in Spiritual well-being with statistically significant at .01 3) The researcher determined that Self-esteem, Resilience Quotient and Emotion Quotient ware positively correlated with levels of Spiritual well-being with statistically significant at .001
