The objectives of research paper were: (1) to study conservation of local community culture in accordance with the Buddhism of Lao Wiang community in Photharam district, Ratchaburi province, (2) to compare the opinion of peoples toward conservation of local community culture in accordance with the Buddhism of Lao Wiang community in Photharam district, Ratchaburi province, classified by personal data, and (3) to study the problems, obstacles and suggestions for conservation of local community culture in accordance with the Buddhism of Lao Wiang community in Photharam district, Ratchaburi province. The research methodology was the mixed methods research, that the quantitative research used the questionnaire as the tool to collect the data in the field study from 396 peoples in Photharam district, Ratchaburi province. The statistics were used for the data analysis through frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation (S.D.), t-test, F-test, One-way Analysis of Variance. And the qualitative research had the documentary analysis and interview as the tool to collect the data in the field study from 7 key informants and analyzed the data through the content analysis technique.

The findings of this research were as following:

1. Conservation of local community culture in accordance with the Buddhism of Lao Wiang community in Photharam district, Ratchaburi province, overall, that in high at mean of 3.84, when considering the aspect found that in high all aspect.

2. The comparison of opinion peoples toward conservation of local community culture in accordance with the Buddhism of Lao Wiang community in Photharam district, Ratchaburi province, classified by personal data, found that sex has the opinions toward conservation of local community culture in accordance with the Buddhism of Lao Wiang community in Photharam district, Ratchaburi province was different, the significantly at 0.01., but age, occupation and income of peoples had the opinions toward conservation of local community culture in accordance with the Buddhism of Lao Wiang community in Photharam district, Ratchaburi province were not different.

3. The problems, obstacles and suggestions for conservation of local community culture in accordance with the Buddhism of Lao Wiang community in Photharam district, Ratchaburi province, as following: problems and obstacles found that insufficient government budget support, providing knowledge about the importance of community culture conservation is not enough, and lack of channels to offer opinions on community culture conservation. And, suggestions found that government agencies should provide sufficient support budget, should organize activities to educate the importance of community culture conservation thoroughly, and should organize activities to support the presentation of ideas for community culture conservation.
