This thesis is a qualitative research with the objectives: 1) to study the history of the Pathaman scripture, 2) to study the essence of Dhamma that appearances in the Pathaman scripture and 3) to analyze the value of the Pathaman scripture that has been appeared in Thai society.

Result of research found that although Pathaman Scripture was believed that related only black magic from ancient people and this generation but it has more values. It was written by the ancient monks of the early Ayutthaya period and  the structure of scripture is divided into 5 parts: Part1 is the Spells for praise the Soul of Pathaman master, Part2 is the magical spell for consecrate “Pathaman (origin) Yantras", Part3 is the process to practice 5 elements of “Na Pathaman Yantra”, Part4  is the process of writing and erasing other Yantras for example Unaloma Ongkran Yantras , Sun Yantraras, Half Moon Yantras, Buddha image Yantras  until finally erase Nibbana Center and Part5 the method for use or apply powder from Yantras erasing to do advantage thing. Another study is about technical words in this scripture.

The purpose of Siamese ancient monk in the early Ayutthaya period had wrote the Pathaman scripture is that they need to create strategy practice for tech monks and laymen about the essences of the Dhamma which appears in the Pathaman scriptures as follows: 1) The Dhamma about various births, 2) The Dhamma about Buddhism virtues, 3) The Dharma concerning The three characteristics and Nibbana and 4) The Dharma related to meditation practice and deep meditation practice. The result from the studies show that Pathaman scripture has 4 values toward Thai society as follows: 1) The value of the Buddhism continuation by create strategy for teach the main principles that are the important Dhamma as The Five Aggregate, The three characteristics, Dependent Origination, Buddha's grace, Thirty Virtues and The Nibbana by create a practice scripture for practise meditation and introspection by use the method of writing-erasing the talisman until the Nibbana center and erase all  Yantras picture, 2) literary values, 3) The value of the application in the way of life of the Thai people, and 4) The value of Buddhist art.
