A Guideline of Dhammadayada Training Program Development for Dhammakaya Temple in Pathum Thani Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research were; 1) to study the current state of

Dhammadayada Training Program of Dhammakaya Temple in Pathum Thani Province, 2) to study management principles and methods of successful training programs, and 3) to propose a guideline of Dhammadayada Training Program Development for Dhammakaya Temple in Pathum Thani Province. The quantitative data of this mixed method research were collected by questionnaires from 162 samples and analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The qualitative data were collected by in-depth interviews with 7 program trainers and mentors and then analyzed by content analysis. The results of the study found that:

 

1. The current state of Dhammadayada Training Program of Dhammakaya Temple in Pathum Thani Province in 4 aspects was at a high level overall. The highest level was on the trainers and the mentors, followed by training activities, training principles, and training management respectively.

 

2. The factors of program management principles and methods were that; 1) Project component, 2) Principles and methods in successful training program management, 3) Training techniques, 4) Training set and training set components, and 5) The training methods of the Lord Buddha.

3. A guideline of Dhammadayada Training Program Development for Dhammakaya Temple in Pathum Thani Province was as follows; 1) In training management, the reception staff should be able to communicate in Thai dialects and the registration officials should have skills in computer and information technology, 2) In training principle, there should be training courses for the trainers and the mentors, 3) In training activity, the trainers should review the activities and be ready to operate the program in advance, and 4) In trainers and mentors, there should be training courses for the trainers and the mentors.
