The main objectives of this research were: 1) to study the role of moral teaching monks in primary schools in Mueang District, Samutprakan Province 2) to compare opinions on the role of moral teaching monks in primary schools in Mueang District, Samutprakan Province classified by individual perspectives and 3) To propose guidelines for the development of the role of moral teaching monks in primary schools in Mueang District, Samutprakan Province. Survey research forms together with In-depth Interview, which is a research model Mixed methodology research between quantitative research and qualitative research data were collected by using questionnaires with samples of teachers and students in primary schools in Mueang District, Samutprakan Province 379 people, which were derived from purposive sampling. The machines used for data collection were questionnaires. Statistical analysis is the frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation (S.D.) and using t-test. One-way analysis of variance (One Way ANOVA).
The result had found that:
1. Opinions on the role of moral teaching monks in primary schools in Mueang District, Samutprakan Province. Overall and every aspect at a high level
2. The results of the comparison of opinions on the role of moral teaching monks in primary schools in Mueang District, Samutprakan Province classified by personal factors, it was found that personnel with different status and gender had different opinions on the role of moral teaching monks in primary schools in Mueang District, Samutprakan Province.
3. Suggestions on the role of the moral teaching monks in primary schools in Mueang District, Samutprakan Province, found that 1) teaching preparation, moral teaching monks should be prepared in advance about textbooks and documents and should be planned. Content preparation Make students interested. 2) Teaching, moral teaching monks should be learning materials used in teaching. Have a relationship with the content of the lesson and should be inserted in ethics and morality along with teaching and learning by having to encourage students to always use their ideas. 3) The use of media/teaching materials should use the media/teaching materials that are prepared and ready to use immediately with fluency and expertise without interruption and should use instructional media that matches the content of the lesson clear and easy to understand including creating interest. 4) Creating the atmosphere in the classroom, moral teaching monks should create an atmosphere for students to be interested in learning making students enthusiastic about new content or things and should organize activities that create an atmosphere of persistence. 5) Measurement and evaluation of learning, moral teaching monks should be evaluated before class to test basic knowledge of learners and should have measurement methods and measurement tools in accordance with the objectives of the desired measurement.
