Abstract

The thesis entitled “The results of Thai-ness learning activities arrangement on the subject of civic duties by using practical learning to the 3rd secondary school students of Wat Thonsamo school, Thachang district, Singburi province” was an experimental research with three objectives. The study aimed: 1) to study the Thai etiquette learning activities by using practical learning to the 3rd secondary school students of Wat Thonsamo school, Thachang district, Singburi province, 2) to compare the achievement results of before and after the Thai-ness learning activities on the subject of civic duties by using practical learning to the 3rd secondary school students of Wat Thonsamo school, Thachang district, Singburi province, and 3) to study the opinions of students towards the practical learning. The research samples consisted of 20 students who were studying in the 3rd secondary school in 2nd semester of year 2018 of Wat Thonsamo school, Thachang district, Singburi province. The research instruments were the learning management plans consisting of 4 plans from learning unit number 1 on the topic of Thai-ness namely, the observation form of Thai etiquette behavior, the observation form of before and after learning the subject of Civic duties on Thai-ness and the questionnaire of students’ towards the Thai etiquette teaching and learning activities arrangement by using practical learning. The statistics used in data collection were Percentage, Average (), Standard Deviation (S.D.) and t-test.

The results of research were as follows:

1. The results of students on Thai etiquette behavior by using practical learning were overall moderate.

2. The achievement results of the comparison between before and after the Thai etiquette teaching and learning activities by using practical learning found that students with after the activities had the average score significantly higher at the level of .01.

3. The opinions of students towards the Thai etiquette teaching and learning activities by using practical learning were at the agreed level.
