The thesis entitled “A study on the results of simulated teaching on the subject of Economics to the 1st secondary school students of Satit school Nakhon Sawan Rajabhat university” consisted of three objectives. The study aimed: 1) to create lesson plans by applying the simulated teaching, 2) to study the achievement results of simulated teaching toward students, and 3) to study the results of simulated teaching toward students’ ability to solve problems.
The results of research were as follows:
1) The 1st secondary school students who received the simulation-based teaching had higher academic achievement in the subject of economics than students who received a normal teaching with statistically significance level of .05 in consistent with the hypothesis.
2) Students who received the simulation-based teaching had higher ability in solving problems then students who received a normal teaching with statistically significance level of .05 in consistent with the hypothesis.
From a study on the results of simulated teaching on the subject of Economics and the ability in solving problems of the 1st secondary school students of Satit school Nakhon Sawan Rajabhat university, it was found that simulated teaching was one of the ways that helped students to have higher academic achievement in the subject of Social studies and higher skills in solving problems.
