This research has the following objectives: 1) to study background and property management of the Savings Cooperative Chiang Mai Healthcare Co., Ltd., 2) to study the fourfold division of money in Buddhism, and 3) to study the form of property management according to the fourfold division of money in Buddhism at the Savings Cooperative Chiang Mai Healthcare Co., Ltd.
The result showed that
1) The Savings Cooperative Chiang Mai Healthcare Co., Ltd. was founded by universal principles of the savings cooperative under the meeting resolution of the International Co-operative Alliance (ICA). There are several funds for helping members and there is property management. 2) The fourfold division of money in Buddhism is as follows: (1) with one part he should live and do his duties towards others; (2-3) with two parts he should expand his business; and (4) he should save the fourth for a rainy day. 3) The form of property management according to the Buddhist fourfold division of money in the Savings Cooperative Chiang Mai Healthcare Co., Ltd. was founded that : (1) the financial management is operated by giving dividend and interest, supporting members to help themselves and others- spending money for themselves, family, parents, and friends; (2) it is operated by giving members loan for expanding his/her business- investing in state enterprise stocks or government bond, spending money in a right way which is in accordance with the analytical thinking (Yonisomanasikara) that they should analyze, classify, and plan to spend money for their daily life and others in a right way; and (3) it is operated by many types of financing compensation to its members, such as the dividend and interest, pension after retirement, cremation fund, and supporting members in the rainy days according to the Four Bases of Social Solidarity (Sangahavatthu). They are : charity (Dana), kindly speech (Piyavaca), useful conduct (Atthacariya), even and equal treatment (Samanattata). That is the way of helping each other based on loving kindness that can bring them actually to the Buddhist way of life.
