The objectives of this mixed method research were to: 1) study the state of management in Phrapariyattidhamma School, General Education Division, 2) develop an effective management model in Phrapariyattidhamma School, General Education Division, and 3) propose the effective management model in Phrapariyattidhamma School, General Education Division. The quantitative were collected by questionnaires from 335 samples and analyzed by mean and standard deviation. The qualitative data were obtained from a seminar with 10 experts and focus group discussions with 8 experts to examine the suitability of the model. The data were analyzed by content analysis.
The results of the study found that:
1. The state of management in Phrapariyattidhamma School, General Education Division was at a high level overall. When considering in each aspect, the maximum level was on management, followed by material and equipment, finance, and personnel respectively.
2. An effective management model in Phrapariyattidhamma School, General Education Division consisted of: 1) Principles to promote the Buddhist education system, General Education, with standard quality, recognition of society, and propagation of Buddhism, 2) Objectives; (1) To develop the school management system into strength and standard, (2) to study the Buddhist scriptures to produce qualified Buddhist heirs,
(3) To develop students as desirable Buddhist heirs, 3) Management Processes;
(1) Principles of management according to management principles, (2) Principles of management of key factors; man, money, material and management, (3) Principles of management for efficiency, including ability of knowledge, thinking, practical process and mental attributes.
3. The effective management model in Phrapariyattidhamma School, General Education Division was examined and approved by the experts with its suitability and applicability in actual operation.
