This research aimed to study the state of teaching and learning management in Phrapariyattidhamma schools, Dhamma Division, in Samutprakarn province and to propose a guideline of teaching and learning management development in Phrapariyattidhamma schools, Dhamma Division, in Samutprakarn province. The quantitative data of this mixed method research were collected from school administrators, teachers and students by questionnaires. The qualitative data were collected from documents and in-depth interviews with 3 key-informants. The data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.
The results of the study found that:
1. The state of teaching and learning management in Phrapariyattidhamma schools, Dhamma Division, in Samutprakarn province in 5 aspects was at a high level overall. The highest level was on measurement and evaluation, followed by instructional media, curriculum, teachers, and teaching and learning management respectively.
2. The analytical results of concepts, theories, and principles of teaching and learning management, and the school contexts indicated that the teachers paid attention to teaching their students in full capability, the curriculum and evaluation system should be revised and adjusted to suit and facilitate students’ learning and to create learning in a new dimension, and instructional media should be provided for improving the teaching and learning management.
3. A guideline of teaching and learning management development in Phrapariyattidhamma schools, Dhamma Division, in Samutprakarn province was that the teachers should teach and train their students in full capability and professionally, the curriculum should be revised and adjusted to students and current social contexts, and modern instructional media, e-learning, application, animation, and other information technology should be implemented for improving students’ learning quality in every level.
