The objectives of this research were; 1) to study the state of digital media use in moral instruction for students in secondary schools in Mueang district of Samutprakarn province, 2) to compare digital media use in moral instruction for students in secondary schools in Mueang district of Samutprakarn province, and 3) to propose a guideline of digital media use in moral instruction for students in secondary schools in Mueang district of Samutprakarn province. The data were collected by questionnaires from 331 student samples and analyzed by percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and F-test.
The results of the study found that:
1. The opinion towards the use of digital media in moral instruction for students in secondary schools was at a moderate level overall and in aspects. The highest level was on the use of natural media, followed by printed media and instrument, and computerized lessons respectively.
2. The comparative results of students’ opinion towards the use of digital media in moral instruction for students in secondary schoolsin Mueang district of Samutprakarn province classified by their different ages and years of study were not different and inconsistent with the hypothesis set.
3. The suggestions for the use of digital media in moral instruction for students in secondary schools were as follows;
3.1 Printed media and instrument should be varied, interesting, up-to-date, and composed of pictures, sound, and sub-title.
3.2 Natural media should be available close to our life and could be developed into instructional innovations.
3.3 Computerized lessons should be interesting and easily and comfortably accessed to information, news, cable TV, and satellite TV.
