The objectives of this research were; 1) to study educational management principles in Phrapariyattidhamma schools, Pali Division, 2) to study the best management in Pali study of Wat Buakhwan Phrapariyattidhamma School, Mueang District, Nonthaburi Province, and 3) to propose a guideline of educational management in Pali study of Wat Buakhwan Phrapariyattidhamma School in Mueang district of Nonthaburi province. The quantitative data were collected from teachers and students of Wat Buakhwan Phrapariyattidhamma School by questionnaires. The qualitative data were obtained by in-depth interviews with 2 school administrators. The data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.
The results of the study found that:
1. The opinion on the best management in Pali study of Wat Buakhwan Phrapariyattidhamma School was at a high level totally. The highest level was on measurement and evaluation, followed by teaching and learning management, teaching and learning activity, and instructional media respectively.
2. The process for increasing the potential in Pali study management of Wat Buakhwan Phrapariyattidhamma School was to have the teachers trained in Pali teaching methods and techniques, to supply instructional media and modern technology for teaching and learning, and to provide funds and scholarships to students.
3. A guideline of the best management in Pali study of Wat Buakhwan Phrapariyattidhamma School was as follows;
3.1 The measurement and evaluation should be conducted through consistent instrument and criteria.
3.2 The teaching and learning management should be in learner-centered method and students should have participation in teaching and learning management.
3.3 Teaching and learning activity should be both in-classroom activities and outside classroom activities in order that students could learn from direct experiences.
3.4 For instructional media, the school should set a budget or raise fund for buying new technology in teaching and learning to motivate interest and concentration in the Pali study of students.
