The purpose of this research were; 1) to study the level of reading habits according to Iddhipāda 4 by using guidance activities of the 6th Primary school Students, Bantalooksansai School, Chiang Mai Province and 2) to compare the development of reading habits according to Iddhipāda 4 by using guidance activities of the 6th Primary school Students, Bantalooksansai School, Chiang Mai Province by using guidance activities of students before and after learning. This research was a semi-experimental research (Quasi-Experimental Research). The sample used in this research were primary the 6th Primary school Students as number 30 persons by using simple random sampling method by mean used classroom as a random unit with measure before and after the activity. The research tools were questionnaires. The statistics were data analysis including , percentage, mean, standard deviation, hypothesis testing, and then t-test, F-test, by One-Way Analysis of Variance.
The thesis results were found as follows:
1. The Level of reading habits of primary the 6th Primary school Students Bantalooksansai School, Chiang Mai Province. It was found that before joining the activity by overall cases were at a moderate level, then it was found that after joining the activity by overall cases were at the most level. Therefore, by statistical significance was at 0.05 level, and according to the hypothesis were set.
2. The comparison results of using guidance activities to develop reading habits according to Iddhipāda 4 by using guidance activities of the 6th Primary school Students, Bantalooksansai School, Chiang Mai Province. They were found that of primary the 6th Primary school Students who had gender, different parents' occupations. They have to develop reading habits according to Iddhipāda 4 all parts were different, by statistical significance was at 0.05 level, and according to the hypothesis were set.
