The objectives of this research were : 1) to study the religious property management of temples in Nongkae district, Saraburi province, 2. To study the opinions comparison of the Sangha administrators towards religious property management of temples in Nongkae district, Saraburi province, 3. To study problems, obstacles and suggestions on the religious property management of temples in Nongkae district, Saraburi province.
The research methodology was the mixed methods research by quantitative research with the sample group as the 162 Sangha administrators in the area of Nongkae district, Saraburi province. The tool for data collection was the questionnaires that had the reliability test at 0.968. The statistics for data analysis are frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, with one-way analysis of variance, t-test and F-test. and qualitative research determined the 8 key informants by purposive selection from academicians. The tool for data collection was in-depth interviews by structured pattern and individual depth interview and using the descriptive content analysis.
The findings of research were as follows :
1. The religious property management of temples in Nongkae district, Saraburi province. The overall was at a high level ( =3.98, SD=0.594) and when considered in each aspect, it found that it is at a high level in all aspects as following, 1) organizing aspect ( =4.11,S.D.=0.757), 2) staffing aspect ( = 3.98, SD = 0.736), 3) planning aspect ( = 3.96, SD = 0.658), 4) directing aspect(x=3.94,S.D.= 0.656, 5) controlling aspect (x=3.90,S.D. = 0.634).
2. The findings of the comparison of property management of temples in Nongkae district, Saraburi province , classified by position of temple management, age, period of time for temple management and level of education by one-way analysis of variance in overall, found that had the operation management indifferently. It rejected the research hypothesis.
3. Problems and obstacles to religious property management of temples in Nongkae district, Saraburi province, found that the monks who are the Sangha administrators in Nongkae district, Saraburi province as the elderly and long time ordination years , they do not know the religious property account management and other accounts still lack of able personnel to manage the accountancy. The suggestions , the Sangha should prepare for temple tax payment in the future due to many areas of Saraburi province are the tourist places and have many Buddhists come to visit and make the merit by money donation. If the government has the temple tax payment policy in the future and the temple should be ready for it.
