The Method of Resolving the Problems of the Family Confliction according to the Buddhist Principle

Abstract

A method for solving a controversy problem in family according to Buddhist principle consists of 3 objectives, 1) to study a controversy problem in family, 2) to study Buddhist principle in Theravada Buddhism and 3) to study an applied method of four Sangahavattu for solving controversy problem in family.

      The result of research shows that;

      The controversy of the member of family in present derives from disagreed-opinion and quarrels of member of family between parents, the couples or parents and descendant. The cause of controversy rises from 1) livelihood, 2) freedom and 3) identity. These causes are together with complicated-context from outside world and opinion without communication. Mostly important, the causes of problem comes from our inside mind which does not know own need.

      Many Buddhist principles supports stability of family, but the researcher focuses on four Sangahavattu. Those families, realizing how to distribute to others, how to communicate in good way, how to conduct for society and how to be equal to the others, can make lovely and warmly family and be happiness.

      In conclusion, the method of solving the problem in family by four Sangahavattu is to know how to distribute material for others, to take consult, to give knowledge and to forgive any wrong action. Those families should strengthen family by good communication and taking jointly activities. It is sure that those methods can create love and ties with family.
