Abstract

             The aims of this study were: 1) to study the students’ behaviors in using the social media networks in Chaiyaphum Rajabhat University; 2) to study the students’ behaviors in using the social media networks based on Yonisomanasikara dhamma (yonisomanasikāra: wise reflection) in Chaiyaphum Rajabhat University; 3) to analyze the results of the study of the students’ behaviors in using the social media networks based on Yonisomanasikara dhamma to be applied in the current society. This qualitative research was conducted through the study of relevant documents and fieldwork and in-depth interview of the population and key informants consistent with the research contents, conceptual framework and research objectives. The obtained data were shown by the descriptive presentation.

The research results revealed that based on the study of the students’ behaviors in using the social media networks in Chaiyaphum Rajabhat University, the students’ social media network usage is the copy behavior which is inspired by their idol and any other important person.

 

According to the students’ behaviors in using the social media networks based on Yonisomanasikara dhamma in Chaiyaphum Rajabhat University, the behavior of suitable usage of the social media networks should be highly realized by the students and presented to the society. This leads to the positive effects to oneself and the others.

In regards to the analysis of the results of the study of the students’ behaviors in using the social media networks based on Yonisomanasikara dhamma, the students do not understand the dhamma ‘Yonisomanasikara’ as this word is unfamiliar to them. When they understand the meaning of the word, most of them agree to apply it in their social media usage for the benefits of themselves and the society.
