The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the current conditions and community problems of Samsuan temple, Nong Sawan village; 2) to study the livable community building according to Buddhist principles of the temple. This study was a qualitative research conducted by the study of both the document and the field work. The obtained data were interpreted by the descriptive analysis.
Research methodology is a qualitative research. The researcher has to study and collected the work from related documents. Then the researcher has to set as an interview question in the research and then entered the area for in-depth interviews. This research interviewed 3 groups. It has included 35 peoples. It is important content such as history, wisdom and concepts the way of life. It is ethics community projects of Nong Sawan villagers Ban Lao Subdistrict, Ban Fang District, Khon Kaen Province.
The research results revealed that. The problems of the community were a community dispute, competitive exploitation, sexual misconducts, telling a lie, intoxicating item selling in generals and etc. All of these problems are about lacking of the basic moral principles.
The livable community building, according to Buddhist principles of the temple can be made by organizing the project, making the temple as the model in bringing the dhamma principles called ‘the Four Bases of Social Solidarity (Pāli: saṅgahavatthu-dhamma)’ to take care of the neighbors, to create friendship, peace, smile and happiness in the community.
