Management on the Sustainable Thai Niyom Project of Wang Chan Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Samngao District, Tak Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1. to study the management on the sustainable Thai Niyom Project of Wang Chan subdistrict  administrative organization, Sam Ngao district, Tak province, according to opinions of the people, 2. to compare the opinions of the people towards the management on the sustainable Thai Niyom of Wang Chan subdistrict administrative organization, Sam Ngao district, Tak province classified by personal factors, 3. to study the relationship between project management and the management on the sustainable Thai Niyom project of Wang Chan subdistrict administrative organization, Sam Ngao district, Tak province, and 4.To present the management approach of sustainable Thai Niyom project of Wang Chan subdistrict administration organization, Sam Ngao district, Tak province.

Research methodology was mixed methods research by using quantitative and qualitative researches. The quantitative research was survey research by using questionnaire with the reliability coefficient of 0.846. The sample consisted of 361 people. The statistical analyses were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, one-way analysis of variance, and Pearson’s correlation coefficient. The qualitative was in-depth interviewing of 12 key informants and the data was analyzed by descriptiui content analysis.

The Findings of research were as follows:

1. The overall opinion of people to management on the Sustainable Thai Niyom Project of Wang Chan subdistrict administrative organization, Sam Ngao district, Tak province was at the high level (  = 3.51). When considering each aspect, it was found that opinion of people on every aspect were also at the high level; knowing of public administrative mechanisms ( = 3.59), knowing of rights and duties ( = = 3.57), knowing of thai popular democracy (  = 3.56,), unity ( = 3.53), happy life (  = 3.52), drug problem solving (  = 3.49), work of government mission, (  = 3.48), Thai people do not  leave each other ( = 3.47), knowing modern technology(  = 3.44), and thai way of sufficiency (  = 3.42)

2. From the comparison of opinions of people on management on the Sustainable Thai Niyom Project of Wang Chan subdistrict administrative organization, Sam Ngao district, Tak province, classified by personal factors, it was found that people with different education, occupation and income had significantly different opinions on the management on the Sustainable Thai Niyom Project, at the level of 0.05. There fore accepting research hypotheses while people with different gender and age did not have significanu on the management on the Sustainable Thai Niyom Project, at the level of 0.05 so it rejected the research hypothesis.

3. There was significantly positive relationship between opinions of people on project management and the management on the Sustainable Thai Niyom Project of Wang Chan subdistrict administrative organization, Sam Ngao district, Tak province,      (r = 0.867**)

4. The guidelines for the implementation of the management on the Sustainable Thai Niyom Project should include a plan to visiting  the area to find out  the problems of each community by providing the plans and projects according to the needs of people in the area by emphasis on the people’s participation to gather with the creation of job, career and income of the people, including the public relations for the important issues of the people.
