This dissertation entitled ‘The Integration of threefold training intoBuddhist Forum’ Modle, activities Model, Revenue Department’has three objectives: 1) to study the integrated Threefold training model that applied into the activities of the Buddhist Club of the Revenue Department, 2) to evaluate the integrated Threefold training model that applied into the activities of the Buddhist Club of the Revenue Department, and 3) to propose the integrated Threefold training model that applied into the activities of the Buddhist Club of the Revenue Department. This is a qualitative research.
In the research, it was found that the establishment of the club was primarily initiated by voluntary and public mindset including sociological dimensions whereby the integrated Threefold training model was purposely formed to alternatively apply into Thai traditional and cultural activities by which the development of human potentiality could be driven and integrated by three aspects: training in higher morality, mentality and wisdom. Based on these, three types are classified as follows: 1) principles for practices, 2) Eightfold path, and 3) three kinds of aggregate. Of them, right view comes first where another’ utterance and reasoned attention are necessarily included. It is believed that they are the beginning of the Holy life wherein a disciplinary rule in the Fundamental Precepts and all Principles are provided and thereby being influence upon the Buddhist scriptures whereby the organizational culture could be changed. Those appear in the Club’s activities as follows: 1) offering of bleak fast and giving alms bowl, 2) the support of Buddhist monks in the Southern region, 3) chanting and meditation, 4) organizing the activity in the Buddhist holiday, Mãghapũjã, Visãkhapũjã, ÃsãỊahapũjã and Retreat day respectively.
According to the general condition of the club, the data gained from interview of the committee, workers and participants, after categorizing them and SWOT analysis, showed that the satisfaction in the four forms of activities was of strong points that: 1) participants had certain knowledge and understanding on the Threefold training and being able to apply into their daily life through four types of development, physical, social, mental and intellectual, 2) regular participation in the given activity, 3) the establishment of the Club and its administration are systematically done, 4) the committee’s voluntary mindset, 5) regular meeting is held, 6) the higher administrators of the Revenue Department pay proper attention to the activity, the weak points requiring improvement were found that: 1) saving time, 2) more youths should be encouraged to participate in the activity, 3) duty and responsibility should be shared by working committee, 4) public relation and obstacle, misunderstanding of the Club’s objectives, of the procedures in organizing the activity, should be done and eradicated. In those matters, the committee’s meeting was held to have brainstorming in order to solve the existing obstacles where the opportunity in the development of formation of any activity can be created through the creation of network among the organization in the internal Revenue Department and external one.
As far as the integrated Threefold training model that applied into the Buddhist Club’s activities of the Revenue Department prosing in this research is concerned, the new body of knowledge shows the influence affecting upon the four dimensions of healthiness, body, behaviour, mind and wisdom. It, therefore, can be claimed that the integrated Threefold training model that applied to the Buddhist Club’s activities of the Revenue Department clearly provides the sustainable aspect benefiting the organization and thereby becoming the essential indicators of the Ministry of Treasury where the primary strategies of the nation are somehow responded leading to the development not only oneself and organization but also strong society.
