The objectives of this research were: 1. to study the administrative guidelines for conflict resolution of the Sangha, Muang District, Ang Thong Province. 2. to compare the management guidelines for conflict resolution of the Sangha Muang District, Ang Thong Province classified by population data. and 3. to study problems, obstacles and suggestions for the administration guidelines for conflict resolution of Sangha, Muang District, Ang Thong Province.
Methodology was the mixed methods: The quantitative research a collection of data from 152 samples who were monks at Muang District, Ang Thong Province. The instrument used for data collection was questionnaires with the confident value equaled to 0.659. Data were analyzed by Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, One-way analysis of variance, ANOVA, t-test, F-test and test the difference of average values by pairs with the Least Significant Different (LSD.) method. The qualitative research collected data from 8 key informants purposefully selected from experts and those who were related to administration with Structured in-depth-interview script by face-to-face interviewing, analyzed data by descriptive interpretation.
Findings of the research were as follows:
1. Guidelines for the management of conflict resolution of Sangha at Muang District, Ang Thong Province in 4 aspects by overall, were at a high level in all aspects. ( = 4.23), Each aspect was also at high level, Kijthathikorn, the duties that monks have to do together, was at the highest mean at ( = 4.52), followed by the administration of Apatttathikorn, argument about rules, was at high level with average value at ( =4.19), followed by the management of Anuvatathikorn, argument about accusation that has to be resolved, was at high level with average value at ( = 4.11), and the last order Is the management of Vivatathikorn, argument about the right or wrong of Budda’s teaching that has to be cleared, was at high level with the average value at ( = 4.10).
2. Comparison of the monks’ opinions on the administrative guidelines of the Sangha of Muang District, Ang Thong Province classified by personal factors, was found that monks who had different educational background and Pali education had different opinions with statistically significant level at 0.05, accepting the set research hypothesis. As for the monks with different age. Ordained age, formal educational levels, and administrative positions did not have different opinions. rejecting the set research hypothesis.
3. Problems, obstacles and suggestions for the conflict administration of the Sangha at Muang District, Ang Thong Province were that: 1). Vivathathikorn, for example, both sides argue that he is always right, and the controversy about the Dhamma discipline. 2). Anuvadhathikorn, the discourse, such as discussions on certain disciplines, such as receiving money and gold, etc., and slander problems Prosecute each other with unreasonable matters. 3). Apattathikorn, for example, some monks still drink alcoholic beverage lacking supervision form the superintendent and the violation of the minor and major rules and regulations, and 4) Kijthathikorn, for example, the monks do not have as much knowledge as they should, do not study, being stubborn, such as not attending church service and ritual matters. The punishing the perpetrators so that they will repent is necessary.
