In this thesis, three objectives: 1) to study the problems of Lottery sales overpriced in Thai society, 2) to study Mettā in Buddhism, and 3) to study the application of Mettā to solve the problems of lottery sales overpriced, were made. This is a documentary research studying documentaries, deep interview.
From the study, it was found that the problems of Lottery are of five types: (1) retail overprice, (2) Dovetail overprice, (3) seting number sale, (4) Wholesale, (5) Exchangesale.
Mettā is the love, the good wishes, the friendship and the state of having Loving kindness. Mettā are of six types: (1) Mettā in Brahmavihāra, (2) Mettā in Appamaññā, (3) Mettā in Sārāniya Dhamma, (4) Mettā in Dasapāramī, (5) ) Mettā in Pañca – Dhammas, (6) Mettā in Ārakkha – Kammatthāna.
The application of Mettā for solving the problems of lottery sales overpriced referred to three types: (1) the Mettā in Brahmavihāra applied for preventing the problems of the retail overprice, (2) the Mettā in Pañca – Dhamma applied for preventing the problems of the Dovetail, and (3) the Mettā in Sārāniya Dhamma applied for preventing the problems of the seting number sale, Wholesale and Exchange sale.
