The thesis " An Application for Promotion of the Ordination Tradition Concerning Elephant to Way of Life of People in Bandan District, Buriram Province” has the following objectives: 1) to study of ordination principle in Buddhism, 2) to study of  ordinationtraditions concerning elephant, Wat Banprasat, Bandan district, Buriram Province. 2) to study of the application of promotion of the ordination tradition concerning elephant, Wat Banprasat, Bandan district, Buriram province. It is qualitative research By analyzing data from the Tipitaka, Buddhist academic documents, concerning research. This is the field research, then researcher presented the results by descriptive analysis.
