Abstracts

                The objectives of this research Paper : (1) to study the efficiency in the Sangha administration of the Sangha administrators at Hua Hin district, Prachuabkhirikhan province, (2) to compare the efficiency in the Sangha administration of the Sangha administrators at Hua Hin district, Prachuabkhirikhan province, (3) to study the problems , obstacles and suggestions to the efficiency in the Sangha administration of the Sangha administrators at Hua Hin district, Prachuabkhirikhan province.  The sampling group was 251 monks. This research is the mixed method research through quantitative and qualitative researches. The data analysis was through frequency, percentage, and average, standard deviation (S.D) for describing data from variables or personal characteristics. The analysis was also done through t-test for analysis the hypotheses in order to test the average difference between the two groups and f- test by one-way ANOVA and the content data analysis was from interview by using the content analysis technique.

         The findings of this research as following :

             1. The monks had the opinion to the efficeiency in the Sangha administration of the Sangha administrators at Hua Hin district, Prachuabkhirikhan province, in overall ,was at high level with an average (X=3.84) and when considered in each aspect found that the highest opinion was the public welfare with an average (X=3.90). The second was the administration with an average (X=3.86). The lowest opinion was was the educational welfare with an average (X=3.78).

             2. The findings the comparison to  the efficiency in the Sangha administration of the Sangha administrators at Hua Hin district, Prachuabkhirikhan province, classified by personal data from the hypothesis test which found that the monks who were the questionnaire correspondents who had the difference of age, ordination year ,  had the opinion differently. It was significantly statistic at 0.05. It accepted the hypothesis. But the monks who had the difference of general education, Dhamma Education and Pali Edcuation. They had the opinion indifferently. It rejected the hypothesis.

             3. The problems and obstacles to the efficiency in the Sangha administration of the Sangha administrators at Hua Hin district, Prachuabkhirikhan province, found that some monks lack of knowledge to understand the practice of principle of Dhammavinaya, lack of human relation between temple and community, lack of budgetary support from related agencies, Sangha organization lacks of personnel to work for propagation of knowledge of Buddhism, lecture or sermon on important religious days irregularly, integrated reconstruction of religious building lack of support and moreover, the activities procedure in the community had the limited condition of the present living.

             For suggestions from the questionnaire correspondents can be summarized as follows : 1) In each temple should compete the monks to practice according to Dhammavinaya. 2) To set up the activity to promote the relation between temple and community. 3) To set up the foundation to support the education of monks, novices and sons or daughters of community people. 4) To set up the Buddhism activity regularly. 5) Should have the fund for integrated reconstruction of religious building systematically.
