Abstract
Thesis entitled "A Study of Applying the Principles of Ditthadhammikattha for EffectiveWorking of the Government Office's Personnel in Muang District, Ubonratchathani Province"has addressed the following predominant objectives: 1) to study the principle ofDitthadhammikattha in Buddhism, 2) to study the behaviors on practical lifestyles of thegovernment office's personnel in living as to the principle of Ditthadhammikattha in Muangdistrict, Ubonratchathani province, and 3) to study the processes in applying the principle ofDitthadhammikattha to the effective working of the government office's personnel in Muangdistrict, Ubonratchatani province. Mixed research has been spelt out in the present studyrespectively as well as the questionnaires and in-depth interviewing have also been carried outaccordingly for data selections.
Findings of the study
The principle of Ditthadhammikattha has obviously depicted the basis of life's maintainingconcepts to gain the sustainable and advantageous living at the present composing of four kindsviz. 1) achievement of diligence, Utthanasampada, 2) achievement of protection,Arakkhasampada, 3) association with good people, Kalyanamittata, and 4) balanced livelihood,Samajivita. The four virtues mentioned above can be easily considered as " diligence, protection,good company and living economically."
The behaviors on practical lifestyles of the government office's personnel in living, Muangdistrict, Ubonratchathani province, as scrutinized, have been evaluated as in "much" level of thewhole assessment. The four kinds of virtues evaluated can be mentioned as: 1) achievement ofdiligence, Utthanasampada, 2) achievement of protection, Arakkhasampada, 3) association withgood people, Kalyanamittata, and 4) balanced livelihood, Samajivita.
The application of Ditthadhammikattha's principle of the government office's personnel toachieve the effective in working can be summarized as follow: 1) achievement of diligence,Utthanasampada represented the endowment and energy, industry, patience, commitment and theresponsibility of the works done intentionally, 2) achievement of protection, Arakkhasampada,illustrated the utility of recycling the wasted or broken materials to be reused and protectingeither of personal and public properties, 3) association with good people, Kalyanamittata,presented the selection of associating with good friends, accompanying with the advisable andsupportable one and 4) balanced livelihood, Samajivita indicated the whole performing of one'sduties with carefulness and living with the appropriate and moderate status.
