ABSTRACT
This research entitled “Guidelines to Develop the Role of School Administrators and Teachers in Promoting Secondary School Information Systems under the Office of Yasothon Educational Service Area 28,” consisting of two main objectives, namely: 1) to study state of school administrators and teachers in promoting secondary school information systems under the Office of Yasothon Educational Service Area 28; and 2) to present guidelines to develop roles of School Administrators and Teachers in promoting secondary school information systems under the Office of Yasothon Educational Service Area 28. The research was the Mixed Methods. The statistical analysis was conducted by Mean, Standard Deviation, t-test and One–Way ANOVA (F-test). The findings of the research are as follows: –
1. The state of schools in promoting secondary school information system under the Office of Yasothon Educational Service Area 28, all the five aspects were found to be at a high level.
2. As for the guidelines to develop roles of School Administrators and Teachers in promoting secondary school information systems under the Office of Yasothon Educational Service Area 28, it has been found that the administrators should promote the office of school information technology related to management and school's basic data management, encourage the storage of school equipment as well as teaching aids, and allocate budget to purchase equipments for the administration of school information systems. Additionally, the administrators also should make a record of common property's damage from the students' uses: tables, chairs, toilets, toilets, and other equipment, and also a register to record information on service and maintaining collective wealth of students, such as repairing tables, chairs and other equipment, as well as make registering information about library, for example, clear separation of male and female students in elementary school and junior high school, and so on. Furthermore, there should be clear procedures for academic services, such as targeting and verification processes, including techniques for measuring, evaluating, and transferring, such as the achievement of learning, etc., and research for the development of educational quality, such as classroom research to study academic achievement, etc. And also the environment clearly impacting on education should be interested, and the most importance is to have clear policy and objectives of plan, and operates systematically, such as planning of operations' information, etc. Finally, the administrators should encourage teachers to define format of presentation of information systems, such as brochures, articles, graphics, tables and charts, etc., including supporting responsible staff for providing information such as level of school vice-director.
