Abstract
The aims of this research were 1) to study the strategy administration of Phra Pariyattidhamma Schools, General Education, under Ubonratchathani Office of Buddhism; 2) to compare the statistic scores of the strategy administration of Phra Pariyattidhamma Schools of the samples, classified by their personal factors: status, education and work experience; 3) to study the ways to promote and develop the strategy administration of Phra Pariyattidhamma Schools mentioned above. For the quantitative research, the samples were 177 educational administrators and teachers, selected by stratified sampling and simple random sampling. The research tool was a five rating scales questionnaire with its reliability value of .98. The statistics used in data analysis were: Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, t-test (Independent samples), f-test (One-way ANOVA) and Scheffe’ Multiple Comparison Test. For the qualitative research, the target group included 6 educational administrators and 6 teachers (total 12), selected by purposing sampling and the tool used in this process was an interview form. The data obtained were analyzed in its contents to find the conclusion.
The research results were as follows:
1) The statistic score of the strategy administration of Phra Pariyattidhamma Schools, General Education, under Ubonratchathani Office of Buddhism in overall was at a high level; the highest can be seen in the aspect of ‘academic affairs administration’, followed by that of ‘budget administration’ and the least can be seen in that of ‘‘general affairs administration’.
2) Based on the comparison, the statistic scores of the strategy administration of the samples, classified by their status, education and work experience were indifferent.
3) The ways to promote and develop the strategy administration of Phra Pariyattidhamma schools were that 1) in ‘Academic affairs administration’, the development of personnel to have passion in the academic, a study visit to the successful institutions should be organized; 2) in ‘Budget management’ the budget management should be done by managing the budget in the most effective way, organizing a study visit to gain more knowledge and apply it in implementation and development, creating the network and finding its own educational fund; 3) in ‘Personnel management’, there should consider the ability of personnel and task assignment based their expertise, the activities positive thinking reinforcement should be organized; the morale and adequate welfare for teachers should be made; 4) in ‘Management of general affairs’, the administration should be operated with the satisfaction, diligence, responsibility, operational thoughtfulness and personnel capacity.
