Abstract
The aims of this research were 1) to study the application of IV Iddhipada (iddhipāda, path of accomplishment) in the basic education school administration under Bueng Kan Primary Educational Service Area Office; 2) to compare the mentioned application according to the samples’ factors: position, school size and work experience; 3) to study the ways of the application in the research area. This study employed the mixed research methodologies: 1) for the quantitative research, the samples included 473 educational administrators and teachers, selected by stratified sampling and simple random sampling; in this stage, the tools used was a questionnaire with its reliability value of .97 and the statistics were: Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, t-test (Independent Sample), f-test (One-way ANOVA) and Scheffe’ method; 2) for the qualitative research, the target group included 6 administrators and 6 teachers, selected by purposive sampling. The obtained data were analyzed in terms of its contents to find the conclusion.
The research results were as follows:
1) The statistic score of the application of IV Iddhipada in the basic education school administration under Bueng Kan Primary Educational Service Area Office in overall was at a high level; the highest can be seen in the aspect of ‘general administration’, followed by that of ‘budget administration, the least can be seen in that of ‘academic administration’.
2) Based on the comparison, the statistic values of the application of IV Iddhipada in the basic education school administration, classified by the samples’ factors: position, school size and work experience were indifferent.
3) The ways to promote and develop the application were that 1) the development of personnel to have passion in the academic, the workshop activities for both academic and on- job education. 2) the budget management in accordance with IV Iddhipada should be done by managing the budget in the effective way, preparing the annual budget plan, a transparent accounting system strictly made according to bureaucracy. 3) personnel management in accordance with IV Iddhipada; there should consider the ability of personnel and task assignment in order for the quality of the students. 4) the management of general affairs in accordance with IV Iddhipada, the administrators should be Iddiligent in duties; consider carefully in the operation; the staffs should be trained to create unity within the group.
